Whoops

Funny little story I forgot earlier:

Today, a boy was sitting on the floor in my class with his pant legs rolled up. I told him "Please roll your pants down. Is that any way behave in the classroom?" The entire class burst out laughing.

Not getting the joke yet? Let me put that into American for you: "Please roll your underwear down. Is that any way to behave in the classroom?"

I then had to tell the class that where I come from, "pants" means pants not underwear. Here "trousers" means pants. My baddddddd.
