Yesterday, Brandy and I went to Wales. Cardiff to be exact. It was a really nice trip despite having very little time to spend in Cardiff. The bus took about four hours to get there and then four hours to get back. We picked up this great little old man who was our tour guide in Cardiff and Caerphilly Castle which we went to afterwards.
We had seats on a very luxurious bus. There were four seats that would face each other with a table in the middle and a kitchenette at the back! Unfortunately, the DVD players were broken and kept trying to come down every time the bus went over a bump, which was a lot! As a result, they would make a very irritating noise. Something I had to put up with for 8 hours!
We had a tour of Cardiff included in our trip, what we didn’t realize was that this was a bus tour! We hurried to snap pictures as we passed by things. This is the entrance to Cardiff Castle.
This is the Millennium Stadium where Cardiff has lots of rugby and soccer games.
This is a building seen on the show Torchwood. I thought it was cool because all the different bricks come from all over Wales, that’s why they’re different colors!

The park surrounding Cardiff Castle had animals all trying to escape the park. I thought that was pretty neat.

A lot of the Olympic soccer games had been going on in Cardiff so they had the rings up.

We had an hour in Cardiff to get lunch and walk around a bit. Then we got back on the bus to go to Caerphilly Castle which is 15 minutes away from Cardiff.

This castle is pretty impressive because it was never captured in a battle and it also is renowned for having 5 lakes surrounding it! That was pretty cool! This tower on the left looks like this because in the 1600’s, Cromwell, who was a big meanie, told people they had to blow up all the castles. This was a very half hearted attempt at it.

After the castle, we went back to London. Another four hours on the bumpiest bus that you ever did see.
